I remember being surprised and impressed when I heard Underworld’s Second Toughest in the Infants because it was mellow and complex – not what I was expecting at all. It was a rock album using synths instead of guitars. Well, guitar samples were there. And here. This is a lot like that. Most people say DJ Shadow and I get that. People who know DJ Food cite that as well and 2CC featured on that one as well, so again it rings true.
