It’s a cover of Father John Misty, who I’ve never heard of, either. I caught it on the Line of Best Fit podcast and loved it. I think you will too. It’s the languid groove, the warm fuzzy vocals, everything slightly distorted. It’s like indie rock in the 90s, only cooler. It’s what the kids now think the music sounded like back then.
