Songs for Halloween: Killing Miranda – I Was A Teenage Vampire

Just a few songs over the next few days to put you in the seasonal party mood.

“All the girls say I’m pretty fly for a dead guy”

That’s about all you need to know about this gloriously tongue-in-cheek glam-goth anthem from the year 2000.

For trivia-hounds who want more info, Killing Miranda were formed in London in 1998 by Richard Pyne, Dave Irvine, Dave Turner, Chris Wareham and Belle. Teenage Vampire comes from their second album, Transgression By Numbers, which was released in 2001 on the Nightbreed label.

Teenage Vampire is the perfect song to put on while you put on your silly costume – whether that’s something you do once a year, or every day.
