Tron: Legacy

I don’t really have time to write today, but was recently reminded of this surprisingly entertaining sci-fi sequel.

Tron: Legacy sees Jeff Bridges reprise his role from the original 1982 sucked-into-a-computer-game adventure, with Garrett Hedlund as his son who goes into the virtual world to rescue him.

It’s all full of day-glo computer people, fun action sequences (bike chases and stylised fight scenes) and a great soundtrack from Daft Punk (which I just bought on CD). Michael Sheen and Olivia Wilde are among the supporting cast.

Anyway, no time to go into why you should see it, but trust me on this. It’s not the best film you’ll see all year by any stretch, but if you’re looking for undemanding entertainment – especially with a mixed family audience – then it’s one to consider.
