I just happened on this over at Line of Best Fit, where they interviewed this intriguing Dane, Karen Marie Ørsted. Part glitchy electronica, part earnest warbling, she’s certainly someone to keep an ear out for.

She has a much richer voice than Grimes’s little-girl sulk, but the frequent comparisons are drawn from the slightly dreamy electro backing. I’d actually say it’s closer to someone like Moloko, before realising with horror that Karen Marie was probably not even born when Fun For Me came out.
